Pistol & Fur is now closed. I have decided that any new formula would be a watered down version of my original vision for p & f and because of this I now realise I can no longer give enough time and energy to the p & f concept.
The p & f publications are still available until sold out.
Thanks to everyone who has supported p & f, it’s been a great journey.
Follow your gut!
Pistol & Fur is in a state of flux, I would like to open this up to all who follow, like, or add to pistol and fur. I believe I have taken the p&f online flickr group and selection of photographs as far as it can go. I love the work people have included and continue to include but I now see the process of flickr submissions has become outdated and less relevant to the progression of contemporary photography. I believe it is now hindering p&f’s concept of photographic expression and in the process is ‘watering down’ the original spirit and spontaneous expression of the process. P&F was one of the original pro-active groups supporting new photography and I would not want p&f to become part of an empty ocean and therefore would like to thank you all for submitting and helping pistol & fur over the years. Pistol & Fur is dead, long live Pistol & Fur! P&F will return in a new form soon.
